Legal information
Cookie policy
This page explains which cookies Akro Las Palmas uses on this Website, what they are for and how you can manage them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Among other things, they allow the site to remember your visit and your preferences, and keep certain features working properly.
2. What cookies we use
This Website uses technical cookies only, which are necessary for its basic operation. We do not use audience analytics (statistics) or advertising cookies, so you do not need to accept any cookie banner to browse the site: technical cookies do not require prior consent under current legislation (LSSI and the AEPD Cookie Guidelines).
| Cookie | Owner | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| akro_preview | Own (Akro Las Palmas) | Technical | Allows access to the site during controlled testing or maintenance phases; without it you would see a temporary information page. | Up to 60 days |
3. The Google Maps map (loaded on demand)
On the contact page we display, by default, a static image showing the clinic's location: no connection is made to Google and no third-party cookies are set when the page loads. Only if you voluntarily click the "View on Google Maps" button is the interactive Google map embedded, at which point your browser connects to Google's servers and Google may set its own cookies, in accordance with its privacy policy.
The WhatsApp, phone and social media buttons (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) are links that only open when you click them: they load nothing and install no cookies while you browse this website; when you click them you access third-party services with their own policies.
4. How to manage or delete cookies
You can allow, block or delete the cookies installed on your device through your browser settings. Please note that if you block technical cookies, some features of the Website may not work properly.
5. More information
If you have any questions about this cookie policy, you can write to us at info@akrolaspalmas.com. Please also see our privacy policy.
In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
