At AKRO we have several care areas that work in coordination: a specialist medical service in Traumatology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine; Advanced Physiotherapy, with specialised Pelvic Floor and TMJ units; Psychology; Advanced Aesthetics, Functional Reconditioning and Therapeutic Pilates.
We also have SAKRON, our unit specialising in the reconditioning of the autonomic nervous system with NESA technology.
At AKRO we integrate advanced diagnostic and treatment technology across our care areas. We have high-resolution ultrasound scanners, INDIBA® Activ (including intracavitary electrodes for the pelvic floor), radial and focused shockwaves, K-Laser® high-power laser, Zimmer® super-inductive therapy, EPI® and ultrasound-guided percutaneous neuromodulation.
In the medical area we have equipment for ultrasound-guided interventions and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) preparation. In Aesthetic Medicine and Advanced Aesthetics we work with the Harmony XL Pro Special Edition platform, SkinPen®, ONA 4-in-1 hydrodermabrasion and facial and scalp analysis systems.
Our SAKRON unit also uses NESA® non-invasive neuromodulation technology and WeCardio for heart rate variability (HRV) analysis, as well as salivary cortisol tests.
If you already know which speciality or professional you need, you can book your appointment directly. If you are unsure, AKRO offers an initial physiotherapy assessment to look at your case and point you towards the most suitable treatment.
During this consultation, our physiotherapist will assess your situation and, when appropriate, may use ultrasound. If your problem can be treated with physiotherapy, they will recommend the most suitable techniques, how they can be combined and an estimate of how often and how many sessions you need. If you need medical care or another healthcare professional, they will refer you to the right specialist.
